I create
     because the world is relationship.

         Fire in the right hand,
            a dove in the left,
                between them — breath.

Art is a return —
                     to body, to earth, to memory,
                       to SELF-respect that gives birth to mutual respect.

                          Through the labyrinth slowly, with light, without haste.

Image, sound, can heal.

                  And I believe
                    that every work
                      can be the beginning of peace.
